Written by Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers as an adaption of Maurice Sendak’s 1963 children’s book of the same name, Where the Wild Things Are combines live-action, animatronics, and computer-generated imagery to tell the story of lonely nine-year-old Max, who sails away to an island inhabited by creatures known as the “Wild Things.”
Films are presented free of charge on Level 3 at 7 p.m. Drinks and free popcorn are available at the museum café, SO.
