Calling all creative adults: find inspiration from artists and artworks and connect with others! Join AAM Artist Program Coordinator and artist Giselle Hicks for spirited conversation and art-making techniques that bring the art on view to life. This free, new program starts with a nontraditional tour of the exhibition Jay DeFeo: The Ripple Effect and ends with hands-on art making over refreshments on Level 3. Participants will make clay pieces of their own, inspired by Ron Nagle’s work from the exhibition, Pink Cup.

AAM education programs are made possible by the Questrom Education Fund.

AAM exhibitions are made possible by the Marx Exhibition Fund. General exhibition support is provided by the Toby Devan Lewis Visiting Artist Fund.

Jay DeFeo: The Ripple Effect is co-organized by Le Consortium, art center, Dijon, and the Aspen Art Museum with the support of the Jay DeFeo Foundation.
