About the Poets:
Simone White is a New York–based poet and critic. She is the author of the collections or, on being the other woman, Dear Angel of Death, Of Being Dispersed, and House Envy of All the World. She serves as poetry editor of e-flux journal and teaches at the University of Pennsylvania.
Diamond Stingily is an artist from Chicago, Illinois, living in Brooklyn, NY. She is represented by galleries: Queer Thoughts (NY), Cabinet (London), and Isabella Bortolozzi (Berlin). Her work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami; the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; and Museum Ludwig, Cologne; among others. Her poems have been published in several magazines and her latest booklet, dead daughter, accompanied her show, dead daughter (2021) at Cabinet Gallery.
The exhibition is curated by Claude Adjil, AAM Curator at Large.
