Teresa Booth Brown is the Director of Education and Community Programs at the Aspen Art Museum. Throughout her four-decade-long teaching career, Booth Brown has inspired students of all ages and backgrounds to follow their creative curiosities. In this session, participants will be invited to expand their thinking surrounding material and concept through a hybrid hands-on and discussion-based workshop.
Teaching Artists is a new initiative by the Museum that fosters dialogue between artists and educators in the Roaring Fork Valley. This program offers real educational experience through curriculum development, hands-on workshops, skill-sharing, and critical discussions surrounding arts education.
