Reina Katzenberger’s art practice is deeply rooted in community and collaboration. Having grown up immersed in the arts culture of the Roaring Fork Valley, Katzenberger’s approach to art education is steeped in the regenerative values that the community prioritizes. This special session will be held at the Art Base in Basalt while Katzenberger takes over the main gallery space and invites community members to engage in her month-long collaborative residency with the organization.
Teaching Artists is a new initiative by the Museum that fosters dialogue between artists and educators in the Roaring Fork Valley. This program offers real educational experience through curriculum development, hands-on workshops, skill-sharing, and critical discussions surrounding arts education.
