Join us on Thursday, August 22 for an artist talk by Colorado-based multidisciplinary artist Ana María Hernando. Hernando, born in Argentina, is interested in making the invisible visible and often celebrates the lives and community of Latina women through immersive fiber installations.
Hernando will speak about her site-specific installation My Longing Doesn’t Quiet / Mi añoranza no se calla, on view from July 26 to September 15 at Rubey Park and Sister Cities Plaza in downtown Aspen.
This artist talk is presented in collaboration with the City of Aspen and the Red Brick Center for the Arts.
