Art in the Field is a FREE series of visits to arts organizations throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and consists of tours, workshops, discussions, and experiences. The opportunity offers teens a chance to experience the living history of art and artists in our community. Visits will encourage students to participate in inquiry and evaluation through conversation, art-making, writing, and other dynamic modes.
There is no requirement to participate in all of the events in the series—teens are welcome to sign up for as many as they choose. Transportation cost assistance is available.
We are offering five $1000 scholarships for teens with a high level of participation in the program. Scholarships may be used for tuition, travel, or other activities related to future goals. For more information about the program or scholarships, please email education@aspenartmuseum.org.
