Aspen Art Press’s catalogue Adam McEwen: I Think I’m In Love is published to accompany his first museum exhibition, organized by the Aspen Art Museum and on view from January–May 2017. Designed in close collaboration with the artist, the book includes a tightly curated selection of works that address the blurred boundary between life and death, reality and fiction, and the everyday and the obscure. Featuring new texts by Wayne Koestenbaum, Lane Relyea, and Heidi Zuckerman, alongside influential and important reprints by writers Thomas Bernhard and Hugo von Hofmannsthal, the publication offers a poignant and introspective look at McEwen’s multilayered practice.
