Mandala Sand Painting: July 10–14

From July 10–14, Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery will construct a temporary mandala sand painting on Level 3 of the Aspen Art Museum as part of their annual visit to Aspen. Visitors are invited to watch the creation of this temporal artwork during regular museum hours. Please join us for the following special events, which are also free and open to the public:
Wednesday, July 10, 3 PM: Opening Ceremony
Saturday, July 13, 9–10 AM: Guided Meditation
Saturday, July 13, 12–2 PM: Interactive Sand Painting
Sunday, July 14, 1:30 PM: Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Lecture
Sunday, July 14, 3 PM: Closing Ceremony
