Participants will be given a passport and are invited to “travel” through Abraham Cruzvillegas’s Hi, how are you Gonzo? exhibition to “stations” where they will get a stamp and can participate in an activity. The passport will contain creative prompts for participants to generate ideas around identity, place, and how to reuse. Nothing is garbage. Complimentary pupusas will be served. Eric Baumheier of Carbondale Rhythm Collective will set up an interactive drum circle.
Drawing on the wealth of Spanish speakers in the Roaring Fork Valley, the museum presents an afternoon of activities for all ages, entirely in Spanish. Featuring guided tours, family art-making activities, and more, this special event is free and open to the public en Español.
