Since 2005, the Aspen Art Museum and the Aspen Skiing Company have collaborated to bring contemporary art to audiences in unexpected places. Each year, an artist is commissioned to produce artworks that are used on lift tickets for the winter season.
Create Your Own Lift Ticket workshops are offered throughout the season for kids and families to respond to these designs by creating a personal lift ticket with the help of AAM educators.
For the first three Saturdays in March, join us on Level 3 from 3–5 p.m. for an Après-Ski offering of spectacular mountain views, art making, live music, free snacks, and discounts at the café. Rotating lineups of local talent and an art station with Create Your Own Lift Ticket ensure fun for all ages. The final après event culminates with a viewing and celebration of the World Cup on Aspen Mountain.
