Let’s join together! This Workshop will encourage collaboration together and alongside 6–8 year olds to create one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the artwork and artists on view. We’ll explore painting, sculpture, and drawing techniques as a team, and hop from station to station on our journey to understanding and appreciating contemporary art.

Let’s build! Using a variety of techniques and materials, we will discover the magic of model making by creating mockups and fabricating and replicating our own reproductions of large-scale buildings, items, and art. Through our compacted designs, we’ll learn about the complexities and focus needed to become a pro model maker.
Experiment with “popular opposites,” using contrast as a catalyst for art and design in this zany Workshop. Unlikely combinations collide on a variety of surfaces, creating unexpected mixed media works. We will show off our compositions at an art show for family and friends at the end of the week.
