This after-school program for kids in Grades K–4 is held most Wednesdays during the school year at the AAM. Museum educators lead classes that include activities in the gallery and take-home projects.
Classes are limited to fifteen participants. Prior registration strongly encouraged.
The Aspen Art Museum is offering a new after-school workshop for middle school students to develop skills of self-expression, teamwork, and creative art-making techniques using a variety of materials. Participants w ill work together over several weeks to present an exhibition of their work in the final session.
Join world-renowned photographer Pete McBride for insight into the adventures and craft of capturing images from around the world. Based in the Roaring Fork Valley, McBride is an award-winning National Geographic photographer, writer, and filmmaker, and has traveled on assignment to over seventy countries. Following a presentation of his creative practice, McBride will invite participants into the galleries for a discussion around Fischli and Weiss’s artwork Visible Worlds.
