Our Take a Look activity encourages audiences to learn how to look closer to consider works of art in a new light. This week, cohosts from the Young Curators program will ask viewers to question something they select to discover things they might not have seen before.
Slow.Look.Live., is a new initiative offering an occasion to slow down and reflect with deeper intention about artistic process and dialogue. Initiated during this period of unprecedented physical distancing, Slow.Look.Live., introduces a series of artists, curators, and thinkers focusing on how perception, creation, and community are shaped by our current geographical location. Each week, we will chart these guests’ relationships to our changing world, to their immediate landscapes, and to their studios. As we redefine how art can be made and experienced, this initiative will evolve indefinitely as a core program of the museum.
Join a regional, national, and international group of participants on Fridays at 4 p.m. (MDT) with Rachel Ropeik, AAM Learning Director, on Instagram Live and Instagram Stories @AspenArtMuseum.
