Donald Chong is a founding partner of Toronto-based architecture firm Williamson Chong Architects, whose design approach privileges specificities of context, materials research, building performance, and client-based collaboration. Chong is a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) and recipient of several awards, including the 2012 Professional Prix de Rome, the Toronto Urban Design Award, and the 2014 Emerging Architectural Practice Award by the RAIC.
The AAM’s Architecture Lecture Series (ALS) brings world-renowned architects to Aspen to discuss the role of public architecture in our society and how its form, style, and purpose impact our engineered landscapes. As a series of free public presentations, ALS sparks dialogue about the role of architecture in our community and beyond.
