Join us on Wednesday, August 28, at 3:00 PM on the Rooftop of the Aspen Art Museum for our sand mandala opening ceremony as part of our Serenity Art series!
From August 28 to September 1, 2024, Tibetan Buddhist monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery will construct a temporary sand mandala on the rooftop of the Aspen Art Museum as part of their annual visit to Aspen.
Serenity Art series is presented in partnership with Aspen Tibet and is dedicated to cultivating a sense of community through a diverse range of guided programs. Join us as we delve into the realms of art, meditation, compassion, and peace under the guidance of Tibetan Buddhist monks from the esteemed Gaden Shartse Monastery.
