As an introduction to the work of American artist Wade Guyton (b. 1972), and Swiss artists Peter Fischli (b. 1952) and David Weiss (1946–2012), known together as Fischli and Weiss, and the forthcoming building-wide collaboration Wade Guyton Peter Fischli David Weiss, the Aspen Art Museum and Aspen Film copresent an evening of the artists’ films.
Exploring how perceptions of space affect an understanding of objects and images, the program will feature two Fischli and Weiss films, The Least Resistance (1981) and The Way Things Go (1987), and two new films created by Wade Guyton. This event takes place on Level 3 of the AAM, and Wade Guyton and Peter Fischli will provide an introduction to their films.
