Margaret Lee’s photographic and sculptural works reflect her interest in everyday objects and how, when placed within certain circumstances, they become laden with concepts of cultural materiality. Aspen Art Museum’s first Photographer in Residence, Lee produced a series of photographs in which mainstream household objects pose in the unlikely scenario of the outdoors.
