Join ArtCrush 2022 Honoree Gary Simmons for a discussion with writer and editor Travis Diehl. The speakers will discuss Simmons’s sources and materials, from classrooms and cartoons as venues for cultural memory, to the formalism of racism in the United States.

Artist Korakrit Arunanondchai and director Alex Gvojic (in collaboration with Tosh Basco) present Together, a “ghost cinema” performance taking place in an Aspen tree meadow in the mountains.

After the ArtCrush Gala, the dancing will continue for a late night After–Party at The Sterling, with a cash bar. Limited table reservations are available.

Presented in collaboration with the Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS), this free and inclusive chamber concert series features one-hour performances by the most advanced AMFS students and visiting musicians in Aspen.
